EASY hairstyles

HEY EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lanie here! I'm sure you've heard lots about me :)
Ignore Kirsten, she always calls me Delaney. That's my full name :(

So, I've got two simple hairstyles here! Each of them have a theme.

INDIVIDUALITY
You need:
Two medium-sized hair elastics
Four bobby pins
Hairbrush
Misting bottle (optional)

1. Brush your hair thoroughly, going from the ends and working your way up.
2. Take two semi-small sections framing both sides of your face and braid both of them.
3. Tie them off with elastics.
4. Take the one on the doll's left, swing it to the other side, and pin the ends down with two bobby pins.
5. Repeat on other side.

HIPPIE
Two small-sized elastics (preferably clear)
One scrunchy/large-sized elastic
Hair clip
Hairbrush
Misting bottle (optional)

1. Take two small sections of hair framing your face.
2. Braid them and tie off with the small-sized elastics.
3. Connect the ends in the back using the hair clip.
4. Tie the ponytail off using a scrunchy or large-sized elastic.

Love, Peace and Awesomeness,
Delaney Danielle!!!

How to curl your hair easily

Hey!

My sister, Delaney, the queen-of-all-things-tacky, decided to curl Gwen and I's hair using two different variations. For Gwen's she used the old fashioned method--foam rollers--and for mine she used her own new version--teddy bear buns.

The thing is, Gwen's hair is straighter, shorter, softer and finer than mine, which may be why the foam roller method didn't do much. I mean, it looks nice and everything, but not like mine. My hair is long, wavy and HUGELY thick, and teddy bear buns worked PERFECTLY for it.

Seriously, I have mini sausage curls! The only thing is, it's like two permanent ponytails, so my yellowy scalp is showing :(. I have four very defined curls! I can tell that Delaney is going to fuss endlessly over them.

Gwen's hair, on the other hand, is just crimped, if that makes sense. It's like the layers are more defined. She's happy with the look though.

So! VERY SIMPLE instructions on how to do both methods!

TEDDY BEAR BUNS
You need:
4 medium-sized hair elastics
1 doll hairbrush
Misting bottle

1. Thoroughly brush all of your doll's hair, starting from the ends and working your way up.
2. Part your doll's hair down the middle as if making two ponytails.
3. Take one of the ponytails and split it in half. Brush one of the halves with a nice spritz of water.
4. This is the hardest part--take it, twist it as if making a ballet bun, and tie off with an elastic. Spray with water after finished.
5. Repeat until all of hair is done.
6. After this, go over and spray your doll's head, especially the buns.
7. Untie the elastics about two hours later and voila! You have non-permanent curls!

TIP:
For tighter, smaller ringlet-like curls, make eight sections instead of four.

FOAM ROLLER
You need:
Foam rollers (small, regular, or large)
Misting bottle
Doll hairbrush

1. Brush all of your dolls hair, once again starting at the bottom and working your way up.
2. Take one sections of your hair, spray until damp and brush again.
3. Take one of your foam rollers and place on top of the section so it's against the wig cap.
4. Roll the hair onto the roller.
5. Then, very carefully, take the roller and roll it towards you to place it higher.
6. Repeat until finished.
7. Spray the hair while in rollers.
8. It depends how curly you want the hair to be--for just a photo-day look, two hours should be enough.

PLEASE NOTE: This was done on a straight-haired girl. This works MUCH better on a naturally curly or wavy haired doll.

Doll rules

KIRSTEN'S OWNER HERE!
So, I'm typing up a quick list of all the rules any future dolls would have to follow (in terms of looks, that is)
No More Hazel Eyes! (With Janie, Bekki, Lanie and TJ on the way, I have a hazel overload!)
Hair MUST BE STRAIGHT (I only have Bekki, Sonny and Lanie with curly hair but I CAN'T STAND IT!)
Their hair absolutely must be shorter than Josefina's (Kaya is of course an exception)

Anything else goes...:)
