Welcome to my blog!

Are you interested in weird things? This is a differently-styled bulletin board. Keep checking back. My dream for this is that one day, it'll be a widespread news site like Huffington Post and Business Insider.

MGA Applauded for Creating Bald Bratz Dolls

I was surfing the web when I came across an article on Doll Diaries--this one.

MGA, the company that owns the Bratz dolls, has created a whole new line of Bratz dolls--they're called True Hope Bratz®.

After reading some comments, I've come to the conclusion that, during the June 2012 release of them, they'll be hugely successful.

Each doll comes wigless, obviously, as well as a girl-sized stretchy beaded bracelet that shows their support for everyone struggling with cancer, and a beanie-style hat to cover the dolls' heads.

I believe that MGA created this line obviously to show people what kids are going through, but also because of the recent demands for a Bald Barbie--however, Mattel doesn't seem interested in the concept. Anyhow, if they were, MGA could've completed the task more easily as they are a smaller company.

What is Cultured Celery Extract, Really?

As you shop the aisles at the grocery store looking for a nitrite-free lunch meat for your kids, you may be tempted by ones that say "ALL NATURAL: NITRITE FREE". For example, the Natural Selections Ham. It claims to be nitrite-free, but is it really? Read on to find out.

You probably have wondered, time to time, what is cultured celery extract? On the ham there's natural ingredients--water, sea salt, vinegar, lemon juice concentrate, smoke flavor, cane sugar and guess what--cultured celery extract. The label boasts 'No Preservatives Added.'

Turns out, cultured celery extract=nitrites.

That's right! Cultured celery extract is just a fancy schmancy way of saying nitrites. Who would've thought?

So, always look on the labels for lunch meat, and look out for the words 'cultured celery extract' and 'nitrites.'

Whitney Houston, Pop Legend, Dead at 48

Today is a day of mourning for people all around the world, as yesterday the 80s pop star Whitney Houston was found dead in Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Singers known to be influenced by Whitney Houston are Celine Dion, Mariah Carey (who's often compared to Houston), Christina Aguilera and many more.

It is possible that she was at a pre-Grammy awards party.

Since this is all over the news, I decided to add it to my blog too. I would've added it last night, except I found out at about 9:00 or so and I wanted to watch Chopped.

Avril Lavigne wrote on Twitter/Facebook: "RIP Whitney Huston. The World Will Always Love You."

Whitney Houston will never be forgotten. RIP Whitney Elizabeth Houston.

HELP FIND AYLA REYNOLDS

Ayla Reynolds is missing. Please help bring her home!

Ayla Bell Reynolds was born on April 14, 2010, and has been missing since December 16, 2011. She was last seen wearing a green one-piece pajama set with white polka dots and the words "Daddy's Princess" on them.
She was also wearing a sling and soft cast.

When last seen, Ayla weighed approximately 30 pounds and was 2 feet and 9 inches tall. Ayla has short, thin blonde hair and light blue eyes and is 22 months old.

Ayla was last seen on December 16, 2011 in her Waterville, Maine home. Her father Justin DiPietro reported her missing.

Please help find her. A family's daughter is missing and I can't imagine how much pain they could possibly be in. If you have any leads or knoweledge of the whereabouts of Ayla, contact the police IMMEDIATELY. If you have abducted Ayla Bell Reynolds, make yourself known. If you see a little girl who matches Ayla's description, call the police. It may not be her, but if it is, you'd have just saved somebody's life.

If you've read this, please comment your wishes to this little girl's parents. Also, if you have a Facebook account, I encourage you to hop on over to the Find Ayla Reynolds Facebook Page and leave a wish or a prayer.

If you have requests for a missing child post that you want me to make, please comment here and I'll try to make it as quickly as possible. Please only write them if they're not already found.

Fresh new start

I'm V, take a look at my Blogger profile :).

I decided to have a fresh start after I got bored with Kirsten's blog and I've moved onto something that interests me more--stories. This is a blog that really reflects the modern world today, a bit of controversy, etc.

I'm not quite done making everything perfect yet, but I'm getting close. I'm really happy with it so far.

Stick around for missing children advertisements (PLEASE READ THEM) warnings, and truths.
